The settings for the design checks are managed in “configurations”. They are based on the standard that you have specified in the model’s base data for timber design. For example, different parameters are relevant for the ultimate limit state design checks according to for EN 1995 than for the strength design according to the U.S. standard NDS.
In the Ultimate Configuration or Strength Configuration dialog box, you define the basic parameters for the ultimate limit state and strength design checks, respectively.
