Steel Hall with 80-ton Double-Girder Overhead Crane

Academic project involving the structural design of a 30 × 15 m steel industrial building with an 80-ton overhead crane, modeled and analyzed in RFEM 6. The attached report covers loading, structural stability, member checks, and functionality.

3D Model of Industrial Hall with Steel Structure and Gable Roof

The hall located in Teruel, Spain, is intended for the manufacturing and handling of steel products. The facility includes the installation of a double 80-ton overhead crane inside the hall, required for the production process and the movement of heavy loads.

The industrial hall belonging to Group 1 is designed as a metal structure consisting of transverse rigid frames, trusses on the central axes, beams on the gable axes and rolled purlins for the roof. The slope of 10% ensures proper water drainage and the correct installation of the sandwich panels.
