Single-Pole Steel Antenna Mast

The subject of this Bachelor's thesis is the structural design and analysis of a 35-meter-high single-pole steel antenna mast. The structure is modeled in the Dlubal RFEM software, which is used to determine internal forces and deformations for further design and to perform a modal analysis. The thesis includes a detailed analysis of wind loads, including the effects of dynamic forces, particularly vortex-induced forces. Furthermore, the global load-bearing capacity and local stability of the structure are designed, with a focus on shell buckling. Key structural details are also designed, particularly the moment-resisting flange connections between the individual mast sections and its anchoring to the concrete foundation. The assembly connection was also modeled in Dlubal RFEM for comparison with a manual calculation.
