This software update fixes a problem with the catalog values for the surface A_m (surface area per unit length) for standardized hot-rolled rectangular and square hollow sections (RHS and SHS) according to the EN 10210-2 standard and the manufacturer ALUKÖNIGSTAHL. In previous versions, these values were rounded too roughly, which led to inaccuracies in calculations and design checks. With this adjustment, more precise values for the area A_m are now used, which correspond to the exact requirements of the standard. This improves the accuracy of calculations for structural steel projects that use these cross-sections and ensures that engineers and designers receive reliable and according to standards results.
