In previous versions of RFEM, the bearing resistance according to EN 1997-1 could not be calculated if the friction angles of individual soil layers deviated by more than 5° from the mean value. This limitation no longer applies: RFEM 6 automatically reduces the deviating friction angles iteratively until the condition is fulfilled and performs the design using the adjusted values.
