Design of Rural Agricultural Innovation Planting Base

The project site is located in Tuo'ao Village, Hengdu Town, Sanmen County, Zhejiang Province, China. Building on its existing land and property resources, the village is developing into an industrial theme village that integrates ”agricultural tourism, specialty agricultural product exhibitions and sales, rural leisure, and themed entertainment.

A design presentation of the cultivation facilities at a rural agricultural base, depicting the greenhouses and supporting structures.

Based on the existing 4-acre orchard, this project aims to design a comprehensive agricultural innovation and cultivation base that integrates features, such as planting, experiential activities, educational programs, and product sales.

The design primarily consists of beam-shaped columns and a vaulted roof. Cable-stayed beams are combined with timber columns to form a beam-shaped structure, enhancing the stability of the columns.

The timber columns are connected to the vaulted roof via cables, creating a unified structural system.
