Aleš Jílek’s bachelor’s thesis focuses on a two-bay, asymmetrical service hall for tram maintenance. The main structure is a two-hinged frame with an articulated service area, designed on hinged foundation footings. Composite cross-sections consisting of steel girders and reinforced concrete slabs are also incorporated. The structural loads comply with Eurocodes, and the model was used for internal force design. This project is part of the Dlubal Talent competition.
