The image shows configuration options for the design of longitudinal fillet welds. The “Design” option is activated. For the calculation method used to determine the design strength of fillet welds, the “Use specified minimum tensile strength of the base metal” option is selected. Alternatively, a user-defined value for the minimum tensile strength of the filler metal can be used. These settings are taken from the ultimate configuration according to AISC 360.
