Tab "Surfaces" for Fire Resistance Configuration According to CSA

Tab "Surfaces" for fire resistance configuration according to CSA

The dialog box shows the fire design parameters for a surface. The required fire resistance duration is 30 minutes, with the burn-through rules for walls and planar structural components activated at β₀ = 0.65 mm/min for all layers. The user interface allows the definition of a layer with zero strength and a threshold thickness of 0.118 inches to exclude the reduced-strength layer. The fire exposure is set for the top (–z) and bottom (+z) with initial protection from below and a protection time tf of 15 minutes. The calculation is performed in accordance with the Canadian standard CSA O86.
