Defining Tolerances of the Stiffening Surface: Type 'Member Support'

The "Stiffening" dialog shows the parameters for the infill type "Surface" with a trapezoidal sheeting. The longitudinal joints are regular. For the secondary beams, bolts ø 6.3 mm with washers ø 22.0 mm are defined at each rib on the bottom flange, where the joint stiffness of 5.20 kN/m is determined according to EN 1993-1-3, Table 10.3. The longitudinal beams and longitudinal joints use hexagon bolts ø 5.5-6.3 mm and bolts ø 4.1-4.8 mm, respectively, with a fastener distance of 0.500 m. Graphics illustrate the arrangement of the panels and the eccentricity on the I-section.
