In the “New Section” dialog box, the “Simple Plane” section type is specified with the “Coordinate System Plane” definition type. The coordinate system is set to “1 - Global XYZ,” and the section plane runs parallel to the XY plane in the positive direction. The offset from the defined plane is -3.500 m. The model display is set to “Intersection Only”. The preview shows a structure with members and surfaces, as well as the section path through the structure.
